Nokia 6 Review

                 Nokia 6

It is being said that there is already a huge demand for Nokia 6 in India, and Amazon India claims that more than one million registrations have been done for the first cell. Talking about the Nokia smartphone's three Android smartphones, it is believed that Nokia has come back with the Nokia 6 device in particular. This phone has the same design as the brand of Finland, and the phone will experience Stock Android, with the promise of instant updates.

Nokia 6 design

Like Nokia 3's design, Nokia 6 comes in a colorful retail box that will remind you of Nokia's old days. The phone feels strong when caught in hand and the company says that the phone is made from a single piece of 6000 series aluminum.

This strengthens the phone and occasionally falls, there will be no harm to the phone. During our review, Nokia 6 accidentally dropped several times but it did not cause any harm. Metallic rear means that the phone slips and we recommend using Nokia 6 with a rear cover.

Nokia 6 is not the slimest phone with a thickness of 7.85 millimeters, but weighing 169 grams is fine for a 5.5 inch screen phone. We think it was not convenient to use Phoe for a long while because this phone is a little shorter and due to not having curved edges, the phone starts sticking after a while. When it comes to good grip, we recommend phone with rounded edges. The front has the Corning Gorilla Glass, but this protection will not be found on the edges.
The phone has the power and volume buttons on the right side which can be used easily. On the rear of the phone, antenna bands are given up and down. Nokia 6 has a 3.5mm audio jack on the top, while Nokia 6 has a charging port and dual speakers at the bottom.

Hybrid can use two nano sims in the dual-sim tray, but the user will have to choose one of the other SIM or one MicroSD card. The forward-facing fingerprint scanner works only from touch and it does not need to be suppressed. It also works as a home button. Compare the same price with other phones, the fingerprint scanner of Nokia 6 does not unlock the device very fast, but it is good for everyday use.

The primary camera of the phone is oval, so that you will miss the Lumia days of Nokia. The single rear sensor comes with a dual-tone flash. The camera is slightly embossed and it is another reason for which you will need a rear cover. Just like Nokia's second device, there is a brand logo back and forth.

The 5.5-inch screen is bright and the color is also pretty crisp. We did not have any problem in using the viewing angle or sunlight in the phone. But there is no LED indicator for notification in the phone, which the company claims is that this decision has been taken after research done on the market.

Overall, Nokia 6 will not disappoint you for design. And in the case of phone look, all the other phones collide. You will love the build quality of the phone for everyday use.

In the retail box, you will get a power adapter, a charging cable, an earphone, a standard guideline, a sim ejector tool and a phone.

Nokia 6 specifications and software

Nokia 6 has a 5.5 inch full HD 403 PPI IPS LCD screen. This phone has a Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 processor and 3GB RAM. The Snapdragon 430 processor is common in low-cost phones. Among these are Lenovo's 6 notes, Lenovo's 6 power (review), Vivo Y5L, Shawmoi Redmi 3S Prime (review), Panasonic Eluga Rex and Motorola Moto G5.

Nokia 6 supports 32 GB of storage and microSD card up to 128 GB. The phone has 3000 mAh battery. Speaking of the camera, this phone has a 16 megapixel rear and 8 megapixel front camera. Both phones come with aperture F / 2.0. This phone has a micro-USB port that will come with charging and data transfer. Apart from this there is also a stereo speaker with Dolby Atomos audio enhancement. The phone also has 4G VoLTE support. There are also features like USB-OTG, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 4.1 for connectivity.

HMD Global had promised that all Nokia phones will come with Android phones. This will make the phone easier to roll out Android updates. Nokia 6 Android 7.1.1 runs on Nouga and our unit receives over-the-air security updates in August. HMD has promised to get the Android OS update along with Nokia 6 as well as the second phone of this series.

Nokia 6 Camera Performance

             Nokia 6

The 16-megapixel primary camera in Nokia 6, fast locks the focus and comes with good detection of photos in sufficient light. Phase Detection Autofocus helps, but many times we have seen that despite the focus being locked, photos take time to capture and save. We felt that the colors in the pictures are muted, which many people might not like. During our experience, there was no special help from HDR mode. Apart from this, the macro and close-up shot also show the distortion that can be made around the edges around the edges.

Photos from the camera come in the night, but if the lights are good then If there is no good light, the photos are almost black. Autofocus also does not work properly in low light. To manually focus, we needed to tap the screen and we had to try more than once to get the right shot. Talk about photography, lack of detailing at night and it is clear that Nokia 6 is left behind compared to other phones coming in this price.

The camera app is vanilla which means you will not get too many options unless you've downloaded a third-party app. If the light is good then the 8 megapixel front camera comes with good selfie. Selfie's quality is okay for uploading to social media.

Nokia 6 Performance

The Snapdragon 430 processor given in the phone is being given in a smartphone priced below Nokia 6. The phone is not useless but it is not the worst in its category. We did not have any problem in using and loading the app in the phone and the touch response was also okay. 3GB RAM will be good for most people

Performance is good when playing in a phone, and there was no problem even when playing games such as Asphalt Nitro in Nokia 6. But the phone often gets hot during the game while using the camera, while using the camera and during GPS navigation which is uncomfortable. Good thing, after closing the app, the phone gets cooled immediately.

We enjoyed watching videos with a 5.5 inch screen. Quality is good, but we thought it was a better screen than other phones like Moto G5 Plus.

In our standard benchmark test, Nokia 6 performed better than other phones with the Snapdragon 430 processor.

The dual speaker in the phone comes with a fast and clear sound. The dual ettos is sound enhancement and it turns out to be a turning point on turning on and off. We can say that speakers are the most obvious in the rest of the phone. But, the quality of the earphones coming with the phone is average and do not expect more than that. We recommend that it is better to use your earphones with Nokia 6.

The talk of cellular networks, Nokia 6 will affect you. The voice is clear when you call from the phone and we are able to make VOLTE calls with the use of Geo Sim. Nokia 6 does not offer direct 4G video calls right now

Nokia 6 Battery Life

In Nokia 6, 3000 mAh non-removable batteries are provided and the company claims that it will last for a day. During our use, this claim was not proved wrong during the use of everyday. Even with apps like Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Telegram, Google Maps, Google Photos and Whatsapp, being open in the background, phones lasted for 15-16 hours. In addition to our standard HD Video Loop Test, the phone's battery has been up to 11 hours and 30 minutes, which is not bad.

But, Nokia 6 does not disappoint fast charging support. We found that Nokia 6 takes more than two hours to charge, which is seen in a phone with a bigger battery.

Our decision -

After waiting for six months, Nokia 6 has finally been introduced in the Indian market. The phone is good for everyday use. Its brand, design and build quality are the most important ones. Stock Android is a good feature and the confirmation of the Android O update is also good news. People who love music will love high-quality speakers. Nonetheless, the phone also has some scripts like average camera, battery life and heating.

Nokia 6 will be available exclusively on Amazon India from Wednesday. The phone costs Rs 14,999. And overall, it looks more like this. Many other smartphones, such as Nokia 6, are present at low cost in the market. Moto G5 Plus (Review) and Shawmi Redmi Note 4 (review) also come in this budget and have a much better specification. But if you like the big screen and do not have trouble using a custom UI, then Shawmey Me Max 2 is also an option.
